Prime Visa exclusive offers
Last reviewed: September 2026. Credit card rewards, promotional offers, rates, fees and benefits may change. Always review the issuer's current terms and Guide to Benefits before relying on a specific feature.
The Prime Visa combines cash-back rewards with a selection of purchase and travel benefits. Some features are part of the card's standard benefits, while promotional or targeted offers may be available only for a limited time or to eligible cardholders.
Understanding the difference between ongoing card benefits and temporary promotions can help cardholders evaluate the Prime Visa based on its actual features rather than on offers that may later change or expire.
How Prime Visa rewards work
According to Chase's current published terms, Prime Visa cardholders with an eligible Prime membership can earn unlimited 5% back at Amazon.com, Audible.com, Whole Foods Market and on purchases made through Chase Travel.
The card also currently earns unlimited 2% back at gas stations, restaurants, and on local transit and commuting, including eligible rideshare purchases, as well as unlimited 1% back on other eligible purchases.
Reward eligibility depends on how a transaction is categorized and whether it meets the issuer's terms. Certain transactions, fees and other account activity may not qualify as eligible purchases.
Limited-time and targeted offers
Prime Visa cardholders may occasionally see promotional opportunities that provide additional rewards or incentives on eligible purchases. These offers can vary by account, merchant, date and eligibility.
Because promotional offers are not necessarily permanent card benefits, cardholders should review the terms displayed by Amazon or Chase before participating. Important details may include the promotional period, eligible merchants, spending requirements, reward limits and enrollment requirements.
An offer available to one cardholder may not necessarily be available to another. Likewise, a previous promotion should not be considered evidence that the same offer is currently available.
Travel-related Prime Visa benefits
The Prime Visa includes several travel-related protections, subject to eligibility requirements, coverage limits and exclusions described in the official Guide to Benefits.
No foreign transaction fees
Chase currently states that the Prime Visa does not charge foreign transaction fees on purchases made outside the United States. This can be relevant for cardholders who use the card for eligible purchases while traveling internationally.
This does not mean that every international transaction is free of other potential costs. Currency conversion methods, merchant practices and other travel expenses may still affect the final amount paid.
Baggage delay insurance
For covered trips, the card currently includes baggage delay insurance that may reimburse eligible essential purchases when baggage is delayed for more than six hours. Chase currently lists coverage of up to $100 per day for up to three days, subject to the benefit's terms and conditions.
Lost luggage reimbursement
The card also includes lost luggage reimbursement for certain covered travel situations. Current Chase benefit information describes reimbursement of up to $3,000 per covered traveler for eligible checked or carry-on baggage that is lost, damaged or stolen.
Travel accident insurance
Eligible cardholders may also receive travel accident insurance when qualifying air, bus, train or cruise transportation is paid for with the card. Chase currently lists up to $500,000 in accidental death or dismemberment coverage, subject to the applicable benefit terms.
Auto rental coverage
Auto rental coverage may apply when an eligible rental is paid for with the card and the rental company's collision coverage is declined. Coverage and eligibility vary, and in the United States the benefit may be secondary to the cardholder's personal automobile insurance.
Purchase protection benefits
Prime Visa also includes protections that may apply to eligible purchases. These benefits have specific coverage limits, exclusions and claim procedures, so cardholders should review the official benefit documentation before relying on them.
Purchase protection
Current Prime Visa benefits include purchase protection for eligible new purchases against certain types of damage or theft. Chase currently describes coverage for 120 days from the date of purchase, up to $500 per eligible item, subject to applicable terms and exclusions.
Extended warranty protection
Eligible products may also receive extended warranty protection. Chase currently states that the benefit can extend an eligible U.S. manufacturer's warranty by an additional year on warranties of three years or less, up to a maximum of four years from the purchase date.
Security and account protections
The Prime Visa includes account security features designed to help protect cardholders from unauthorized transactions.
Chase currently provides Zero Liability Protection, which generally means eligible cardholders are not held responsible for unauthorized charges made with their card or account information, subject to the issuer's terms and investigation procedures.
Cardholders should still regularly review account activity and report suspicious or unauthorized transactions directly to Chase as soon as possible.
Roadside and travel assistance
The Prime Visa currently includes access to roadside assistance. If roadside help is needed, the service can help arrange assistance such as towing or other eligible services. Roadside service itself is not necessarily complimentary, and applicable service charges may be billed to the card.
Travel and emergency assistance services may also help cardholders obtain referrals or assistance while traveling. Costs charged by third-party service providers remain the responsibility of the cardholder unless the applicable benefit terms state otherwise.
Redeeming Prime Visa rewards
Prime Visa rewards can currently be redeemed in several ways. Cardholders may use eligible rewards toward purchases at Amazon.com or redeem through Chase for options such as cash back, gift cards and travel.
Redemption values and available options can vary, so comparing redemption methods before using points can help cardholders understand how their rewards will be applied.
What Prime Visa does not automatically include
It is also important to distinguish the Prime Visa from premium travel cards that include features such as airport lounge memberships, luxury hotel status or dedicated concierge programs.
Benefits such as complimentary Priority Pass membership, not assured airport lounge access, complimentary hotel upgrades, Michelin restaurant reservations, personal shopping services and private club access should not be assumed to be standard Prime Visa benefits unless they are specifically listed in the current terms provided by Chase or Amazon.
Promotions from individual merchants may occasionally provide additional benefits, but a merchant promotion is different from a permanent benefit provided by the credit card itself.

Evaluating Prime Visa benefits
The Prime Visa is primarily a cash-back rewards card with additional purchase and travel protections. Its value depends on factors such as spending habits, use of Amazon and Whole Foods Market, Prime membership status and how the card compares with other available credit card options.
Rather than relying on temporary promotions or benefits associated with other credit cards, consumers should compare the Prime Visa using its current rewards structure, fees, APR, protections and official terms.
