Benefits of Wells Fargo Reflect

Last reviewed: September 2026. Credit card rates, fees, benefits and promotional offers may change. Review Wells Fargo's current terms and Guide to Benefits before relying on a specific feature.

The Wells Fargo Reflect® Card is primarily focused on providing an extended introductory APR period rather than earning cash back, points or travel rewards.

Its current benefits include a 21-month introductory APR offer, no annual fee, cell phone protection and several account and assistance features. Understanding both the benefits and their limitations can help consumers compare Reflect with other credit card options.

21-month introductory APR

The main feature of the Reflect Card is its current 0% introductory APR for 21 months from account opening on purchases and qualifying balance transfers.

Balance transfers must currently be requested within 120 days from account opening to qualify for the introductory APR, and a balance transfer fee applies.

After the introductory period, the applicable variable APR applies to any remaining eligible balance.

The current offer should not be described as an 18-month introductory period that can be extended for another three months. Wells Fargo now publishes the introductory period directly as 21 months.

No annual fee

The Wells Fargo Reflect Card currently has a $0 annual fee.

This removes a recurring annual card cost, but other fees can still apply. Current examples include a 5% balance transfer fee with a $5 minimum and a 3% foreign transaction fee.

Cellular Telephone Protection

The Reflect Card currently includes Cellular Telephone Protection when eligibility requirements are met.

Current Wells Fargo benefit terms provide reimbursement of up to $600 per approved claim for covered damage, theft, or involuntary and accidental parting of an eligible cell phone, less a $25 deductible.

The benefit currently permits a maximum of two paid claims within a 12-month period.

To qualify, the total monthly cell phone bill generally must be paid with an eligible Wells Fargo consumer credit card. Lost phones that simply disappear, software problems and certain other situations are not covered.

Roadside Dispatch

Eligible Reflect cardholders currently have access to Roadside Dispatch®, a 24-hour service that can help arrange assistance such as towing when needed.

No roadside membership is required to access the dispatch service, but roadside assistance itself is not necessarily complimentary. The service provider confirms the applicable charge when assistance is requested, and additional mileage charges or restrictions may apply.

My Wells Fargo Deals

Reflect cardholders may also have access to personalized merchant promotions through My Wells Fargo Deals.

Eligible offers generally need to be activated before use. When the applicable requirements are met, cash back can be provided as an account credit.

Merchant availability, promotional amounts, expiration dates and eligibility can vary. These offers are not the same as an ongoing cash-back rewards program on every purchase.

Zero Liability Protection

The Reflect Card currently includes Zero Liability Protection for qualifying unauthorized transactions.

Wells Fargo states that cardholders will not be held responsible for unauthorized transactions when they are reported promptly, subject to applicable conditions.

Cardholders should continue to monitor their accounts and report unfamiliar transactions as soon as possible.

Credit Close-Up and FICO Score access

Eligible Wells Fargo Online customers can enroll in Credit Close-Up®, which currently provides monthly FICO® Score updates and personalized credit insights.

Checking the score through this service does not negatively affect the customer's credit score.

Credit Close-Up is not an exclusive Reflect Card benefit. It is available to eligible Wells Fargo customers who meet the program requirements.

The FICO Score displayed through Credit Close-Up is also provided for educational purposes and may not be the same score Wells Fargo uses when making a credit decision.

What Reflect does not offer as a standard rewards card

The Wells Fargo Reflect Card is not currently promoted as a traditional rewards credit card that earns cash back, points or miles on every eligible purchase.

Its primary value proposition is the introductory APR period. My Wells Fargo Deals can provide separate merchant-specific cash-back opportunities, but those promotions should not be described as an ongoing Reflect rewards program.

Balance transfer costs still matter

A 0% introductory APR does not mean a qualifying balance transfer is free.

Wells Fargo currently charges 5% of each balance transfer, with a minimum fee of $5. For example, transferring $5,000 would currently result in a $250 transfer fee.

Consumers can compare that upfront cost with the interest they expect to avoid during the promotional period when evaluating a balance transfer.

Foreign transaction fee

The Reflect Card currently charges a 3% foreign transaction fee on each transaction converted to U.S. dollars.

Consumers who frequently travel internationally or make purchases from foreign merchants may want to compare this cost with cards that do not charge a foreign transaction fee.

Final considerations

The Wells Fargo Reflect Card is mainly designed for consumers evaluating an extended introductory APR rather than a traditional rewards program.

Its current 21-month introductory APR, $0 annual fee, cell phone protection and additional account services may be relevant depending on how the card will be used.

At the same time, consumers should consider the 5% balance transfer fee, 3% foreign transaction fee, applicable variable APR after the promotional period and the amount they expect to repay before the introductory rate ends.
